Our four most popular colors of CRL Silicone Sealant are available in convenient 3-fluid-ounce squeeze tubes, offering the same great formula as our 33S Silicone Sealant. This CRL 22 Series sealant meets the same exacting standards and specifications as our professional-grade 33S, making it a proven product you can use or sell with complete confidence.

The clear color is suitable for use as either an adhesive or sealant, offering high tensile strength (350 psi) to withstand the effects of demanding applications. The aluminum color is ideal for metal applications, while the black color is excellent for repairing various rubber items, such as gaskets in cars, trucks, and heavy equipment. The white color, on the other hand, contains an additive that makes the cured silicone resistant to mildew, making it perfect for sealing bathtubs, sinks, tile, and shower stalls, as well as for mounting ceramic or metal soap dishes and towel bars.

Regardless of the color you choose, you can be assured that you're using the best possible quality silicone. However, it's important to note that this sealant is not recommended for certain applications, such as structural glazing, insulating glass glazing, concrete and stone expansion joints, horizontal decks, patios, driveways, or terrace joints where abrasion is possible. Additionally, it should not be used on surfaces with special protective or cosmetic coatings, such as mirrors, reflective glass, Teflon-coated, polyethylene, or polypropylene surfaces.

Before applying the new sealant, it is crucial to remove all old sealant. This CRL 22 Series sealant is not suitable for painting and should not be used for the fabrication of aquariums (use Cat. No. 99AS Clear Aquarium Silicone instead).
